What is the Mother Son Banquet and Dance?

Our Mother Son Banquet, Dinner and Dance is a very special and unique formal event. It is an open event.  Guests do NOT have to be a member of our Scouting program or be a member of our church to attend.

Our Mother Son Banquet and Dance is a wonderful occasion for all sons and their mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, aunts, great-aunts, god-mothers.  This event allows the son the opportunity to honor their mother, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, aunts, great-aunts, god-mothers.

Mothers are vital in the roles of their sons.  At this event, mothers have the opportunity to be their son’s first date whereby a son learns how to treat his number one lady.

The event features a formal dinner, a program, a word of encourage, etiquette and manners showcase, a special Mother’s Tribute, escorting of mothers and an exciting dance.  This will be an event that will create cherished memories for years to come.

The purpose of the Mother Son Banquet, Dinner and Dance is to:

·         Show mothers how much they are loved and appreciated

·         To say a special thank you to mothers in a special way

·         To teach young men how to become positive, well manned young men

·         To teach etiquette and manners

·         To make a positive impact in the lives of the attendees
